Instructions:
Bake 50 - 60 minutes. Let Cool 10 minutes in pan and remove onto a wire rack. Brush cake with bourbon syrup. Serve cake with remaining syrup. Bourbon Syrup 1 cup sugar 1 teaspoon unsalted butter 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract 2 tablespoons of bourbon In a small saucepan, bring sugar and 1/2 cup water to a boil. Cool 5 minutes.
