My first attempt at Pepper Relish. Not a fan myself, but everyone that is liked it. |

Ingredients:
12 sweet green peppers
12 sweet red peppers
8 green or red hot peppers, the small variety
10 medium onions
4 cups vinegar
3 cups raw honey
2 tablespoons sea salt

Instructions:
Grind all the peppers in a food grinder.
Place them in a saucepan and bring to a boil in their own juice.
Let stand 10 minutes, then drain.
Grind the onions.
Add the onions, vinegar, honey, and sea salt to the peppers.
Boil for 20 minutes or a bit longer.
Place the relish, while boiling, into clean, scalded pint jars and seal while hot. |
