Chicken Divan Pot Pie

Pet Ritz Pie Crust Recipe

Ingredients:
3 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 cup chicken broth
1/4 cup milk
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese 4 ounces
2 cups cooked diced chicken
1 package 10 ounce frozen chopped broccoli thawed and well drained
2 pet Ritz pie crusts

Instructions:
Preheat oven and baking sheet to 425 F degrees. Invert 1 pie crust to thaw. In medium sauce pan combine butter, flour and pepper.
Cook over low heat until mixture becomes thick and bubbly. Gradually stir in broth and milk.
and mix until mixture begins to thicken.
Add cheese and stir until melted.
Fold in chicken and brocoli
Pour mixture into pie crust.
Place the inverted pie crust onto top of the mixture creating a top for pot pie.
With for mash edge of the crust together all the way around by dipping the fork in water.
Make slits or fork marks in pie top to vent.
Bake on preheated baking sheet 30 minutes.
Serves 6.
