This recipe is from the Feb 2000 Southern Living Magazine and has been one of our favorites. This is an excellent cake and it won't last long!!! |

Ingredients:
4 cups plain flour (or cake flour)
3 cups sugar
1 lb. butter (softened)
3/4 cup milk
6 eggs
2 tsp vanilla |

Instructions:
Put ingredients in a 4 quart bowl
Beat at low speed with heavy duty electric mixer for 1 minutes (stopping to scrape the sides)
Beat 2 minutes at medium speed
Pour into a greased and floured 10 tube pan
Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour and 30 minutes |
